The passenger bus (Ba 1 Kha 9280) had overturned on the road after it lost control at around 3:50 pm today, according to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division.

The injured have been rushed to various health facilities around the incident site including the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, the MTPD spokesperson SP Lokendra Bahadur Malla told THT Online over phone.

The victim is yet to be identified.

The passenger bus was heading toward Gongabu from Maharajganj along the Ring Road.
