Two people have been reported dead leaving one person missing in a flood triggered by incessant rainfall at Banepa in Kavre district.
Police have recovered the body of Mohan Bahadur Thapa, 52, of Nayabasti, Banepa-4 on Wednesday.
Police Inspector Anil Ghimire informed that Jit Bahadur Sarki, 58, of Tukucha-8 is still missing.
The rain triggered flood at Punyamata and Chandeshwori River, on Tuesday, had claimed the life of Ashish Kafle, 9, of Paanchkhaal-9 in the district.
The flood has waterlogged Pulbazar and Naya Tarkari Bazar in Banepa causing damage to shops and businesses in the area.
Likewise, the flood also swept away cooking gas cylinders from Sagarmatha Gas Udhyog, Surya Gas Udhyog and Chandeshwori Gas Udhyog, said Ghimire.
